The All-Star Squadron joins the fallen JSA on Brain Wave’s mental battlefield. They all fall prey to the same fate as the Justice Society, metally losing their wills to live.
Green Lantern, having received the summons to the All-Star Squadron late, finally arrives at the New York World’s Fairgrounds. He also enters Brain Wave’s mental environment, but his superior will power allows him to outduel Brain Wave. His power smashes the machines keeping the Squadron captive, awakening them, but his mind is temporarily crippled due to the circumstances involved in freeing them.
