Welcome to Fanboy, a collection of articles which explore a variety of topics including DC continuity, comic book history and a few personal ramblings.

Many of these articles originally appeared in a feature called the Weekly Planet which began in 2002. It's original intent was to be an online weekly newsletter in the style of the Daily Planet house ads that DC used in the 1970s. During its five year run, the Weekly Planet contained a variety of features, some that worked better than others. The most popular was the Time Machine which eventually spun off into its own section. The Time Machine, now called the Newsstand, has consistently been the most popular feature on Mike's Amazing World. The Planet has now been retired, but Fanboy is designed to keep the most useful content alive.
