Comments:
This story is continued from Young All-Stars #13 and continues in part in Young All-Stars Annual #1.
Synopsis:
Arn Munro awakens in a Project M laboratory where he is recovering from the wounds he suffered at the hands of the Blood Avenger. Elsewhere in the facility, Per Degaton arranges for Deathbolt to escape. In the process Deathbolt kills a guard and starts an electrical fire. Robotman, Amazing Man and Arn put out the fire. In the process Amazing Man's powers are altered, giving him magnetic powers. Also Miss America briefly awakens from her coma, but she quickly passes out again.
The All-Stars return to their headquarters. The Young All-Stars are chastised for not telling the older members about the Blood Avenger sooner. They are ordered to stay in the Perisphere while the rest of the team searches the city for Ultra and Fury.
When Chuck Grayson calls to inform the group that he has a device that could help Fury, the team disobeys orders to go pick it up. They then locate the Blood Avenger and attempt to use the device. When it fails, Flying Fox leads the Avenger to the harbor where Tsunami and Neptune Perkins have located Ultra. They pit the two against one another. Ultra abandons the dinosaur body ending the battle. Flying Fox was able to magically contact the other furies who drag Tisiphone away. The Blood Avenger vanishes leaving a confused Helena Kosmatos behind.
Back at Project M, Per Degaton discovers that the robot Mekanique has altered and perfected his time travel calculations. She promises to help him conquer the world if he will assist her in destroying the All-Star Squadron.
