Synopsis:
Arn Munro shows off his new costume to the other Young All-Stars. When Fury expresses her dislike for the outfit, Arn comments on her costume, which causes the young heroine to storm out of the room. The rest of the group goes after her only to find her in a trance-like state. Robotman and Amazing Man explain that she entered the trance upon seeing Mekanique. Fury snaps out of it and explains that Mekanique triggered a vision in which the female robot is battling the All-Stars.
When Fury has another vision, this time of Mekanique attacking Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle, a transformation is triggered. Fury become the Blood Avenger, but Arn is able to calm her. The group then decides to get Fury some help.
Robotman escorts the team to Bedloe Island where a secret facility is located under the Statue of Liberty. Chuck Grayson works at the facility which contains a variety of scientific experiments and anomalies and is called Project M. The All-Stars are shown around the facility and are eventually taken to a lab where Chuck can monitor Fury.
Elsewhere inside Project M, lab assistant Per Degaton has built a secret tunnel through which he brings Deathbolt inside. Deathbolt is carrying the disembodied brain of the Ultra-Humanite who lost his body during his last encounter with the All-Star Squadron. The Flying Fox spots Deathbolt and battles him. While the battle rages Ultra is able to implant his mind into the body of a tyrannosaurus found on Dinosaur Island. Ultra attacks just as Flying Fox has come to warn his teammates.
