Synopsis:
The Young All-Stars and All-Star Squadron participate in a charity baseball game. During the game Green Lantern is distracted and flies away without explanation. In the final at-bat Arn Munro hits the ball so hard that it burns up from the friction. He believes that it the game-winning home run. Hawkman, however, catches the remains of the ball and thinks it should be the final out. An argument ensues with both sides deciding that they won the game.
After the exhibition, the Young All-Stars stay to watch the Yankee game. They are later summoned to the manager's office where they are told about a Nazi submarine off the coast. The All-Stars are then dispatched to defeat the sub.
Also watching the game is the Tigress. She is spotted by police, but the villainess easily escaped from them. She plans to meet the All-Stars soon.
