Comments:
This story is continued from Young All-Stars #12 and continues in Young All-Stars #14.
Synopsis:
The Ultra-Humanite has taken possession of a tyrannosaurus body in the secret facility known as Project M. He battles the All-Stars and smashes the lab, putting the comatose Fury at risk. When the machines monitoring her are destroyed, Fury awakens as the Blood Avenger. She attacks Ultra who decides to leave instead of continuing the fight. He causes the roof to collapse while leaving.
The Blood Avenger takes off also, leaving the All-Stars trapped inside the damaged facility. Arn Munro digs himself free and pursues Fury into New York City. The other All-Stars take Deathbolt prisoner and are questions by the head of the facility Professor Mazursky.
After a seemingly fruitless search for Fury on the rooftops of New York City, Arn finally comes face to face with the Blood Avenger. He claws are able to penetrate his invulnerable skin. She shreds him and tosses him from the building before flying away. Munro is left for dead on the streets below.
