This story is continued from Legion of Super-Heroes #60 and continues in Legion of Super-Heroes #62.

Synopsis:
Science all across the planet Earth has begun to fail. Technology ceases to function and chaos takes hold. The Legionnaires assist the Science Police with maintaining order. Other members of the team seek solutions to the problem. Sensor Girl turns to the mystic Antonio Stefanacci, since magic is more powerful than ever. She instructs Saturn Girl to communicate Sun Boy's knowledge of science to Sarvisa, a mage from Sorcerers' World. The plan works and power is restored. However, the true source of the problem remains undiscovered.

Meanwhile, Shadow Lass is returning with Mon-El when her ship is caught in the wave a technology failures. Mon-El's life support fails, causing his heart to stop.
