Synopsis:
The Legion continues their battle with the Emerald Empress. They are forced to back off the fight to save Polar Boy who was taken hostage, but the Empress releases him and leaves Earth. The Legion tracks her to Trom where Element Lad severely wounds her and injures her eye. The Emerald Eye fuses with the Empress giving her even more power which she uses to destroy Quislet's ship.

Eventually, the Empress tires of battle and leaves Trom. She feels the Emerald Eye is a curse and meets with Sensor Girl for help severing her connection to the Eye. Sensor Girl uses her power to hide the Empress from the Eye. In so doing, the Eye shuts down, and the Empress crumbles into dust.
