"Who is Wonder Girl? Chapter Three"
This story takes place during the Invasion of Earth.
This story is continued from New Titans #51 and continues in New Titans #53.
Synopsis:
Nightwing leads a team of Titans to an alien planet to locate one of the children gifted by the Titans of Myth. Nightwing, Starfire, and Cyborg are attacked as planetary invaders. The leader of the alien group is Athyns, the Titan seed they are looking for. While the others fight, Jericho takes possession of Athyns's body.
Then the alien assassins arrive. A three-way battle ensues. The assassins succeed in destroying the entire planet. Nightwing and his team barely escape in time. Athyns is the only survivor of his race, and he blames the Titans for the destruction of his world.
On New Chronus, Wonder Girl and her team arrive with the other Titan seed Xanthi. Donna and Xanthi recall happier days when this world was alive. Now their mentors, the Titans of Myth have grown old and are threatened by a fleet led by Sparta. When Nightwing's team nears the planet, the fleet attacks them. Athyns seizes control of the ship and fights back. Hopelessly outnumbered, their travelsphere is destroyed.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Danny Chase attempts to contact reserve members of the Titans to help fight an alien invasion of Earth.
