This story is continued from New Titans #50 and continues in New Titans #52.

Synopsis:
Phoebe, one of the Titans of Myth, lies dying in Titans Tower. Jericho enters her body to add his strength to her own. This gives the dying god a chance to tell Wonder Girl her tale.

Millennia ago after the Titans were exiled from Earth by Zeus and the Olympians, they formed a new world called New Chronus. They became gods to a new race of creatures. However, Rhea mated with many of these aliens which created a race of demigods. A war ensued which ended in the extinction of the alien race.

Devoid of followers, the Titans of Myth began to die. They decided to use their remaining energies to train a new breed of Titans. Abandoned infants from many worlds were brought to New Chronus by Rhea including the infant Donna Troy whom Rhea rescued from a burning building. The children were given powers and trained. Years later they were sent home with no memories of their time on New Chronus.

One of the children did regain her memory, Sparta from Synriannaq. She used her powers to conquer her planet. Then she brought war to New Chronus. She also began killing the other children. Phoebe left the other Titans to bring warnings to the children at the cost of her own life. With her warning delivered, Phoebe dies.

Donna and the Titans then use Phoebe's travelspheres to seek out the two remaining children. Wonder Girl, Raven, and Changeling witness an attack by Sparta's aliens on one of the children, Xanthi. The harsh environment of his world protects him. He joins the Titans on a trip back to New Chronus. The other team of Titans visits a different world.
