Synopsis:
Arion converts his father's citadel into a sky ship and pilots it back through the portal from Darkworld back to Earth. He then gathers the tribe of Grondar as his army to recapture the City of the Golden Gate from Garn. The sky ship reaches Atlantis where the sub-men wage an assault from outside. Inside the walls, Wing and Kali lead a group of rebels to capture the Tower of Technology.
Arion lands the sky ship inside the walls. It then transforms back into a stationary citadel. While the battle rages around him, Arion learns that he must make a sacrifice to stop Garn. He is forced to destroy his father's crystal which contains all that is left of Caculha in order to counter Garn's magic. Arion and Garn then engage in a personal duel of magic. Arion prevails, and Garn disappears.
With the city retaken, many of the combatants on both sides hail Arion for the victory. Kali wonders if the people may have found a new king. Meanwhile, D'Tilluh and Balar have raised their own army to retake the city in Carcosa. Balar leads the army back to the City of the Golden Gate, unaware that Garn's forces have already been defeated.
