Synopsis:
After encountering a giant sea monster aboard the Black Unicorn, Arion and his friends are taken to the port city of Lysarr by Captain Bloodmoor. Unknown to the mage, the ship's first mate Kyllor has smuggled the body of Garn Daanuth into the ship's hold. Kyllor plans to melt the body, which has been turned into gold, and become rich. When the ship makes port, Kyllor takes Garn to a goldsmith, but only succeeds in releasing the sorcerer from the golden prison.
Rather than facing Arion directly, Garn leaves Lysarr. He heads for Atlantis to conquer it before confronting his brother. Arion and his friends then part ways with Captain Bloodmoor. Wyynde's brother Nightfire elects to stay with the ship and joins its crew.
