Comments:
Robotman’s exploits on pages 13-16 occur concurrently with the sixth story of Star Spangled Comics #15.
This story takes place in early January, 1942.
Synopsis:
The active members of the All-Star Squadron hold a meeting to elect a chairman. Liberty Belle wins by majority vote.
Following the meeting the All-Star’s separate to return to their personal lives. Hawkman and Hawkgirl share a brief moment together before Hawkman returns to his army unit. Steel checks up on his old girlfriend Gloria, learning that she has married and her father is dead. Robotman returns to his lab to save Chuck Grayson and Joan Carter from an explosion, then confronts a lawyer who wants to have him declared a public menace. The Shining Knight accepts the offer of Winston Churchill to return to England as his personal protector. Liberty Belle and Johnny Quick accompany Firebrand to San Francisco to visit her brother, who is recovering from injuries sustained at Pearl Harbor. Finally, the Atom visits the Jefferson Memorial with Mary James before he is due to return to his own army unit.
