The Dzyan Inheritance Part Two of Four
This story takes place on May 31, 1942.
This story is continued from Young All-Stars #16 and continues in Young All-Stars #18.
Synopsis:
Kalla finishes telling Neptune Perkins and the Young All-Stars the story of Arthur Gordon Pym. When Neptune is not immediately a believer, she provides him an account of his own birth in which he was born with a salt deficiency and forces to live in the water. Neptune then gives his own account of his childhood and the murder of his parents. Kalla claims that the Nazi group called the Black Order was responsible.
The Young All-Stars want to wait for the adult members of the team to return before going after the Nazis. However, Neptune refuses to wait and storms off with Kalla. Her Dzyan's powers allow them to reach the arctic quickly.
Neptune soon meets his grandfather who is a prisoner of the Nazis. Kalla then reveals her betrayal by striking down Neptune. She intends to use his blood to save the life of A. Gordon Pym. She was working with the Nazis to this end, but Streicher reneges on the bargain and kills her.
