Synopsis:
A man calling himself Bloodsport opens fire in a crowded restaurant killing several people. Jimmy Olsen is in the restaurant and calls Superman. The Man of Steel tracks down Bloodsport, but is surprised when the shooter hits him with a Kryptonite bullet.
Jimmy helps Superman escape by using one of Bloodsport's weapons against him. He then gets the Man of Steel to the hospital where the Kryptonite can be removed. Superman then realizes that Lex Luthor must be involved since only he has access to Kryptonite.
Superman faces Bloodsport again on the streets of Metropolis. He notices that the crook is using a teleportation device to arm himself, so Superman disables it. Bloodsport then threatens to detonate a bomb which will destroy the city. Jimmy defuses the situation by bringing in Michael DuBois, Bloodsport's brother. Michael was disabled in Vietnam, while his brother dodged the draft. Michael manages to talk his brother out of detonating the bomb, ending the conflict.
