Synopsis:
Lois Lane visits an experimental bio-energy facility where a new energy source is being developed by Kitty Faulkner. When Thomas Moyers, a scientist on the project, points out the danger the new energy source poses he causes an overload which triggers an explosion. Superman responds to the sound and contains a dangerous energy sphere created by the blast.
While searching the wreckage for survivors, a tall orange woman radiating energy attacks him. During the ensuing battle, Moyers tells Superman that the woman is Lois Lane who was caught in the blast. Superman and the newly dubbed Rampage continue to fight in the streets of Metropolis. He then learns that Rampage is actually Faulkner, not Lois. Superman eventually drains Rampage's energy into his own body, then dispels it in a lightning storm. Lois later visits Faulkner in the hospital where she recovers from her injuries.
