Comments:
This issue is an official Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.
Pages 17-22, subtitled Interlude 2: "Shanghaied into Hyperspace", adapt the Sandman chapter from All-Star Comics #13.
This story is continued in part from Crisis on Infinite Earths #5.
Synopsis:
Firebrand leads a group of history’s heroes against a group of indians attacking Cape Canaveral. She soon realizes that both groups are on the same side, and the real villain is the Ultra-Humanite who has taken control of the facility. Cyclotron is plucked from moments before his death in 1942 to stop Ultra and save Terri Rothstein, his daughter. He succeeds, but then is returned to his own time where he will meet his death.
Meanwhile Sandman travels to an alternate dimension Uranus in a Nazi rocket. He aids the crystal men of that world, then begins his trip back to Earth.
