Comments:
Flash becomes the third honorary member of the Justice Society after having received his own quarterly title.

This issue contains a text message inviting readers to vote for which Justice Society member should receive their own quarterly magazine and which feature they would like to replace the character on the team.

Synopsis:
The Justice Society throws a party to honor the Flash who is leaving the team and becoming an honorary member. Johnny Thunder crashes the party and invites himself to join the team. As a prank, the members tell Johnny he must capture Killer McPanzee, who Johnny believes is a dangerous killer but is really a harmless old man.

Johnny sets out to complete his mission, but runs into trouble. He uses his Thunderbolt to gain the aid of Flash, Doctor Fate, and the Sandman. When the other members fail to return Hourman, Green Lantern and Spectre search for them.

Johnny is humiliated during his adventures and is forced to summon Atom and Hawkman to his aid as well. Finally Johnny ends up on board a ship. Ironically Killer McPanzee arrives there as well, and Johnny’s Thunderbolt returns the ship to JSA headquarters. Impressed by Johnny’s dumb luck, they award him with membership in the JSA.
