Synopsis:
On Earth-1, Hourman and Atom of Earth-2 defeat the Fiddler, Dr. Fate overcomes the Icicle, and Hawkman and Black Canary stop the Wizard. At the same time, on Earth-2, Green Arrow, Atom, and J’onn J’onzz defeat Felix Faust, Batman and Wonder Woman overcome Dr. Alchemy, and Aquaman and Superman stop Chronos.
When the two Green Lanterns free the two Flashes, however, the combined magic of Faust and the Wizard acts to teleport all sixteen heroes into prison cages far out in space. Each cage is designed to neutralize the powers of its captive, but the villains have made one mistake: while the Atom cannot shrink between the molecules of his cage, the Green Lanterns are able to use this method of escape with their power rings. They then free the others, and the two teams return from space to battle the united Crime Champions, who cannot withstand the combined onslaught.
