Synopsis:
Superman and Wonder Woman stage a circus performance for charity. Wonder Woman, having lost her super powers, asks Lois Lane to assist her in acquiring a Mercury Stone from a Metropolis museum that will allow her to fly. Lois agrees and gives the stone to Wonder Woman.
After the charity performance Lois is assigned to report on the private lives of the heroes. She soon discovers rumors that Superman and Wonder Woman are planning to get married. Lois challenges the Amazon to a martial arts duel which Wonder Woman wins.
However, Wonder Woman is still powerless. She claims that Superman can restore her powers via an Amazon ring. After the Man of Steel uses his x-ray vision on the ring, Wonder Woman regains her super strength and invulnerability.
Lois becomes suspicious when she sees that Wonder Woman is weakened by Kryptonite. She visits a mansion that the Amazon plans to live in after her marriage and discovers the real Wonder Woman locked in the basement. Lois learns that the imposter is Phantom Zone escapee Ar-Ual. The Kryptonian criminal catches Lois, but Superman comes to her rescue. Superman then explains that he would not have gone through with the wedding because of his feelings for Lois.
