Superman briefly assumes the identity of Brad Dexter, a Chicago reporter, in this story.

Synopsis:
The Superman Revenge Squad test a new weapon against Superman, which is designed to turn him into a coward. The device only works when Superman is in his Clark Kent guise. Though, he doesn't know the cause of his cowardice, Superman tries to cure himself. With Supergirl's help, he succeeds in overcoming the problem. She also informs him that the Revenge Squad are responsible. Superman tricks the Squad when they return, then turns them over to the interplanetary authorities.
