Synopsis:
Superman stops a magnetic comet in space and becomes magnetically charged. This new ability helps him catch some criminals, but it also rouses Lois Lane’s suspicions that he is Clark Kent.

The Man of Steel uses his new power to create the illusion that criminal mastermind, Jay Vorrell is Superman. Vorrell’s men believe that they have been double-crossed by their boss, and when they are caught provide needed evidence against their boss.

Superman’s power finally goes away during an electrical storm. Lois however is convinced that Clark is Superman since a compass she carried always pointed toward Clark. Clark shows her that he was carrying a magnet in his pocket to fool her. The explanation works to once again protect his secret from nosy Lois.
