Famous disasters begin reoccuring including the sinking of the Titanic, the San Francisco earthquake, and the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. Fortunately, Superman prevents the disasters from becoming worse. Later, Clark Kent is approached by a man who runs the WRAV television station. The man claims that each disaster followed his station showing films of the disasters. Sure enough, events shown on the next film duplicate themselves. Superman moves the TV station believing the signals are being picked up by powerful alien beings. The final broadcast shows the creation of a pot of gold. The gold appears later and is used to pay for the damage.
