Synopsis:
Criminal Cuff Davis has come up with a "book of alibis" which contains a list of alibis he plans to use for upcoming crimes. When he robs Terry Sloane, Mr. Terrific follows Cuff back to the boarding house where he is hiding. Cuff uses one of the alibis to make it seem that Mr. Terrific has the wrong man.

The trick works, but Mr. Terrific remains suspicious. While Cuff is away, Mr. Terrific searches his room and finds the book of alibis. When Cuff then commits his next robbery, Mr. Terrific is able to ruin his alibi. Cuff is then arrested.
