Comments:
This is a Seven Soldiers of Victory story.
Dr. Doome’s involvement with the Time Trust in All-Star Comics #10 is revealed in this story.
This story, which retells the events from Leading Comics #3, is told primarily in flashback. The flashback occurs chronologically before All-Star Squadron #13 in which the Shining Knight became the protector of Winston Churchill.
Synopsis:
The Shining Knight defends the skies of London against Nazi bombers. He then receives a summons to attend a meeting of the All-Star Squadron. Winston Churchill releases him to go, but after recounting an adventure involving the Seven Soldiers of Victory and their battle against Dr. Doome, Justin decides to remain in his homeland to defend Britain.
