Comments:
This story is continued from Checkmate #31 and continues in Checkmate #33.
Synopsis:
Harry Stein returns to Checkmate. He immediately begins recalling the Knights and preparing them to deploy to Austanburg. His preparations prove to be too late. Victor Cypher is able to begin his coup and subsequent takeover of the country. Peacemaker is the first agent to arrive on the scene. He attacks Cypher's troops, while the Knights of Checkmate begin an air drop into the country.
