Synopsis:
After wrapping up the Millennium affair with the Justice League, the Blue Beetle returns to Chicago. As he approaches he sees an energy field surrounding the city. When he flies into the field, the Bug loses power and crashes.
Having survived the crash, the Beetle finds himself surrounded by dinosaurs. After repairing the Bug, he scouts the area and locates Chronos. The time thief has displaced the city and transported a prehistoric land mass into the area. He plans to mine a rare metal that will make him a billionaire.
The Blue Beetle is captured after a battle with pterodactyls. However, he escapes the trap set by Chronos. The two men fight in the villain's lab. The equipment is destroyed and the energy field begins to deteriorate. Blue Beetle escapes and returns to the air. Chicago appears beneath him. Chronos however is transported back in time where he remains trapped.
