Chronos kidnaps the Atom. He then uses special equipment to cause the Atom to relive his worst memories. While observing his foe's misery, Chronos recalls his own recent history which included being stranded in a pre-historic era. He was able to place himself into suspended animation and was revived seven years from present day. He then used his knowledge of those seven years to amass a fortune. His revenge on the Atom is interrupted by a report of an alien invasion in Australia. When the Atom break loose, Chronos suggest they fight together against the invaders.
