Comments:
This issue is labeled:"Millennium Week 6".
Jan of the Boy Commandos is reintroduced in this story. His last name is given as Haasan, while his pre-Crisis counterpart spells his name Jan Haasen.
This story mentions the escape of the Cuckoo with a reference to New Teen Titans #40. That story was delayed and published in New Teen Titans #44.
Martian Manhunter is depicted with other heroes at the Green Lantern Citadel. He could not have been present since he was in space battling Highmaster as shown in Millennium #6.
Synopsis:
After discovering that the Manhunters have assembled under the surface of the Earth, Blue Beetle returns to Kord Industries to retrieve an experimental Starprobe. With the help of Mister Miracle, he believes the device will allow the heroes to melt their way inside the Earth. Overthrow and a group of Manhunters are sent to stop the heroes. After briefly being knocked out, Beetle and Miracle defeat Overthrow and unmask him as Arnold Beck, a dock worker at Kord, Inc.
