Synopsis:
Fields and Shepperd kidnap Ricki Negrini. The CIA surveillance team watching the Atom follows them. Meanwhile, the Atom heads for the CIA. He tells Bailey that he wants a new identity and is willing to join up to get one. Then another agent enters the room. He doesn't see the Atom, so he mentions the surveillance team and their pursuit. The Atom is angry that he was being watched, but he needs to help Negrini first.
Using the phone lines, the Atom transports himself to the pursuit vehicle which is equipped with a cellular phone. He then stops Fields and Shepperd and rescues Negrini. Shepperd tries to bargain with the Atom using information. The surveillance team tries to eliminate him, but they fail. Shepperd then admits that Bailey ordered the destruction which destroyed New Morlaidh and resulted in Laethwen's death.
