Synopsis:
The Atom prepares to attack the CIA operatives who were responsible for the death of his lover, Laethwen, and her people. Meanwhile, Bailey is doing some preparation of his own by destroying files and getting to a safe house. His assistant Stevens finally learns the truth about his boss and is taken hostage for his trouble. When they reach the safe house, Stevens briefly escapes and calls the Atom.
The Atom travels across the phone line and reaches the safe house. He quickly defeats Bailey's men including the Sting, a costumed agent using the technology of the, now deceased, Bug-Eyed Bandit. Once the Atom reaches Bailey, he draws a specially constructed device which causes the CIA chief to disappear.
