Comments:
This story is continued from New Teen Titans #41.
This story takes place shortly after Vigilante #50 in which Arthur Hall is shot. It is revealed that Raven helped to save his life.
Synopsis:
The Wildebeest sends the three costumed crooks he broke out of prisoner to rob a jewelry store. Gizmo, Trident, and the Disruptor are met on the streets of New York by Cyborg, Danny, and Changeling. Gizmo is captured, but the other two crooks escape. Nightwing, Wonder Girl, and Starfire visit Arthur Hall in the hospital after he was nearly shot to death. Raven and Jericho question a suspect in police custody for leads to find the Wildebeest.
The Titans reunite. Changeling is assigned to escort Gizmo back to Titans Tower. The others search for the escaped villains. They find them and defeat them. However, Gizmo has escaped. The diminutive crook heads for S.T.A.R. Labs and discovers the Wildebeest working there as Doctor Ellis. Exposed, Ellis shoots Gizmo.
Raven transports the Titans to S.T.A.R. to catch the Wildebeest. They are forced to break off the assault when Changeling is wounded. Danny is able to plant a tracker on Ellis before he flees. They use the tracker to locate Wildebeest's lair. The crook is already gone. They do recover Mother Mayhem who gives birth to a daughter, breaking the curse of Brother Blood which is passed down only to male children.
