Synopsis:
Clark Kent arrives for work on his last day at the Daily Planet. Many of the employees give him the cold shoulder including Lois. Perry calls Clark into his office and gives him advice for his new position as editor at Newstime. When the talk is over, Clark discovers that the other employees have arranged a surprise party for him.
During the party Clark discovers Alice the intern in one of the storage rooms. She admits that she is homeless and has been living at the office for three years. Perry offers her a place to stay and writes an editorial. Clark then returns to Smallville to share the holidays with his parents and Lana Lang.
