This story, which takes place in early March, 1942, is continued from All-Star Squadron #45.

Synopsis:
Johnny Quick and Libby Lawrence question Baron Blitzkrieg’s assistant Zwerg to learn the location of his secret hide-out. Johnny is delayed, but Liberty Belle and Hawkgirl find the hide-out in Philadelphia where Blitzkrieg intends to use the Liberty Bell to restore his eyesight.

Zyklon battles Hawkgirl and Belle, while Blitzkrieg waits for lightning to strike a machine to power the device which will restore his sight. Hawkgirl and Zyklon knock each other out, leaving Liberty Belle to break the machine. Lightning strikes at just that moment, restoring the Baron’s sight and also giving Belle sonic powers. Blitzkrieg escapes just as the other All-Star’s arrive.
