Comments:
The origin of Dr. Fate and his first encounter with Wotan are retold in this story.
This story, which takes place in late March, 1942, continues in part in All-Star Squadron #48.
Synopsis:
Starman and Dr. Fate visit All-Star Squadron Headquarters prior to a JSA meeting. Dr. Fate tells Tarantula his the story of his origin and first encounter with Wotan for inclusion in Jonathan Law’s upcoming book. After Fate completes his tale, the Squadron is informed that Winston Churchill requests his presence in Britain. Starman goes to the JSA meeting without him, and the other All-Star’s join Fate on a trip to London.
