Synopsis:
Herupa and Nadia prepare the Chosen for the final stage of their evolution. With all the heroes who helped protect them in attendance, the immortals impart their power upon the Chosen. Each of them is transformed by the power. Xiang becomes Gloss, Takeo becomes Ram, Gregorio becomes Extrano, and Celia becomes Jet. Betty Clawman disappears into the dreamworld, but remains connected via Extrano.
The Guardian and Zamaron begin dying rapidly with the transfer of power. The Floronic Man, now Floro, chooses to keep his own power and does not receive energy from the immortals. Tom Kalmaku declines to join the others. He prefers to remain with his family. The immortals give him dormant power to protect him. The Guardian offers to let Harbinger join the Chosem, but she refuses and flies away.
The transfer of power is felt across the planet. Many people including the spirits of the two fallen Chosen react to the ascension. In South Africa, former Chosen, Janwillem Kroeg, plots against them. Once the Guardian and Zamaron complete their work, they die. The heroes then return to their lives, while the New Guardians prepare for the future.
