Synopsis:
Superman returns to Metropolis as a costumed super-hero. He immediately makes an impact on crime by stopping a purse snatcher and a group of armed robbers. Lois Lane follows the Man of Steel, seeking to get his story for the Daily Planet. When her attempts to catch up to him fail, she drives her own car off the end of a pier. As she hoped, Superman comes to her rescue.
Superman returns Lois to her apartment and answers a few questions. Lois is thrilled that she will finally be able to write her article and make the headlines. However, as Superman warned her, the information doesn't help her. When Lois turns in the article to her boss, Perry White, she learns that she was beaten to the story by Clark Kent, a new reporter that Perry has hired.
