Synopsis:
After a murderer is set free due to crooked prosecuting attorney, Ralph Dale, Clark Kent recommends that the Daily Planet support Bert Runyan, an honest attorney, for office to stop the corruption. Gang boss, Nat Burly, pressures Runyan to drop out of the race, using several illegal methods and assistance from crooked police officers. Superman helps Runyan avoid the tactics of his competitor, but when election day comes, a gang member stuffs the ballot box, fixing the election. The Man of Steel exposes the crime, causing Dale and Burly to be arrested. Runyan is elected after a recount.
