Comments:
Before his body dies in this story, Matt Cable meets Morpheus. As shown in the Sandman's own title, Matt is allowed to carry on in the dream world as Matthew the raven.

Synopsis:
Abby visits Matt Cable in the hospital. Matt has been in a vegetative state for three years and the hospital expects Abby to pay for his medical bills. All records of his government employment with the D.D.I. have been erased. While Abby struggles to come to terms with her new debt, Matt is experimented on by doctors. Abby decides to pull the plug on Matt's body. Before she can act, Matt reaches into the dream world and is able to kill himself. Abby returns to the swamp, where Constantine offers to find the Swamp Thing. Abby turns down his offer.
