Synopsis:
Hank Hall and Ren enjoy a date on the beach until they are interrupted by a muscle-bound man. The man tries to drag Ren off the beach. Hank tries to defend her, but the man is too strong. He becomes Hawk and continues the fight. As the battle escalates, it becomes apparent that the man, who calls himself Sudden Death, has super powers. Despite his opponent's explosive powers, Hawk prevails. However, Hawk remains unaware that the battle was staged by Barter.
Meanwhile, Dawn spends some time in bed recovering from a cold. She has visions of Don Hall which she believes are fever-induced.
