In exchange for the information he wants the duo to steal an old bible from his immortal enemy Count St. Germain. Hawk refuses, but Dove agrees. She wants to learn the truth behind their powers.
Hawk and Dove break into St. Germain's house which has a number of traps. They are forced to conceal their powers in order to prevent mystical alarms from triggering. When they are surrounded by animated suits of armor, Hawk takes them on. Dove continues without him, but she is pursued by St. Germain and his bodyguard Kali Jahan.
