Comments:
This story continues in Green Arrow Annual #2. Since that story depicts Myra running Hub City, it must take place sometime after she woke from her coma and left the hospital as shown in Question #28.
Synopsis:
Green Arrow comes to Hub City seeking the Question after an encounter with a faceless man in Seattle. Two other faceless men attack him and Tot. After fighting off the attackers, the Question traces the men back to Arby Twain, the man who helped Tot invent the false skin used by the Question. Twain was sent to prison years earlier for selling faulty medical supplies. He has been released and has taken refuge in Santa Prisca. The hitman were sent to get even with Tot and the Question for his earlier incarceration.
The Question and Green Arrow travel to Santa Prisca. They learn of a plot by Twain to release a poison gas in Hub City. The gas removes awareness from people, turning them into virtual zombies. However, the gas also removes hate, greed, and evil. Green Arrow rushes back to the United States to try to stop the threat, but the Question has mixed feelings. He elects to stay in Santa Prisca to talk with Twain, who has become the victim of his own weapon.
