Synopsis:
The Question retrieves a video tape that implicates Hub City Mayor Wesley Fermin in a scandal. He airs the tape on television during his newscast as investigative reporter Vic Sage. Fermin and his men try to have Sage killed, but the crimefighter avoids a killer's bullet.
Fermin's advisor Reverend Hatch hires Lady Shiva to deal with Sage. The crooks bait a trap for him at the pier. Sage shows up as the Question and is defeated by Lady Shiva. Fermin's men then beat Sage and shoot him in the head. They dump the body into the water, leaving the Question for dead.
