Comments:
This story is told in two parallel parts. The top portion of each page is told from Scott Free's point of view and tells of his escape from Apokolips. The bottom half of each page is told from Oberon's point of view and tells of his history with the original Mister Miracle, Thaddeus Brown.

Synopsis:
Mister Miracle gives a public performance involving a death-defying escape. During the show, Scott Free reflects upon his training on Apokolips, his first meetings with Himon and Barda, and his escape. Meanwhile Oberon worries over his friend's safety. He recalls memories from his own past including the death of his family, his time with the circus, and his adventures with Thaddeus Brown, the original Mister Miracle.
