Synopsis:
While waiting for a shuttle in a spaceport R.J. Brande sees a group of children playing Legionnaires. He tells the children the story of the Legion's origin. Years earlier while taking a shuttle to Earth, R.J. met three youths from separate worlds, Imra Ardeen, Rokk Krinn, and Garth Ranzz. While disembarking from the shuttle assassins were detected by Imra. Rokk and Garth then stopped the killers from targeting Brande. The following day, R.J. convinced the three to stay together and form the Legion of Super-Heroes.
