Synopsis:
Clark Kent and members of the Daily Planet staff attend a banquet honoring women of the year. The event is interrupted when Intergang attacks. A group of their assassins crash the party and attempt to kill Clark, Lois, and Cat Grant. Superman stops the attackers.

Meanwhile in Smallville, Matrix is acting more and more like Clark Kent. Her mind also appears to be linked to the real Clark, because when Superman is battling Intergang, Matrix carries out the same actions, substituting Smallville police officers for Intergang. Lana Lang is able to stop Matrix before anyone is killed.
