Synopsis:
The Suicide Squad has liberated political prisoner Zoya Trigorin from a Soviet prison. However, their escape route is blocked when the American embassy officials plan to turn them in. The Squad comes up with another plan to flee across the frozen Black Sea. Nemesis stays behind to cover their escape, while the Bronze Tiger makes arrangements for additional assistance.
Disguised as travelers, the team successfully makes it to the Black Sea. However, Nemesis was captured by the People's Heroes who were able to telepathically extract the escape plan from him. A confrontation takes place on the ice between the two teams. The Bronze Tiger then arrives with reinforcements including Captain Boomerang and Black Orchid.
The fight continues as Russian soldiers arrive. Briscoe lands the team's helicopter to extract the team. Zoya is shot and killed by the Soviets. Nemesis goes back for her and is captured. The rest of the team makes it safely out of Russia. Gorbachev is disappointed that Trigorin's death makes her a martyr.
