The Phoenix Gambit Part Three
This story is continued from Suicide Squad #41 and continues in Suicide Squad #43.
Waller demonstrates knowledge that Kobra is alive after faking his death in Captain Atom #40.
Synopsis:
The newly reformed Suicide Squad travels to Vlatava where a revolution is underway. General Kaligari, the official currently in power, has been working with the Soviets and has ordered the execution of protestors. When Waller and her team arrive, they offer to work with Kaligari, but they are secretly working against him. Batman and members of the team seek out and confront the Soviet metahumans involved. While they are in the field, Waller stays behind. Deadshot bursts intp her room with orders to kill her.
