Synopsis:
Slam Bradley is hired by Thomas Morgan to find his missing girlfriend Mary Watson. Thomas is kidnapped by crooks, despite the efforts of Bradley and Batman. While Batman follows the crooks to England, Bradley tracks down Mary Watson and learns that Thomas is a direct descendant of Professor Moriarty.
In London, the Elongated Man pays a call on Richard Waid the caretaker of the Sherlock Holmes estate. Waid is attacked by Edgar Moriarty, another descendant of Holmes's old foe. The Elongated Man tries to fight off the crooks and is saved by the timely arrival of Slam and Mary Watson.
The Elongated Man finds a manuscript that details an unrecorded case of Sherlock Holmes. Holmes acted to protect the Queen of England from a phony doctor who intended to kill her. Though Holmes apprehended the imposter, the mastermind behind the crime, Moriarty, remained at large.
The Elongated Man and Bradley then team up with Robin to go after Edgar Moriarty. They prevent him from stealing a guided missile and rescue Thomas in the process. Meanwhile Batman protects the Queen from a corrupt Scotland Yard inspector who has helped to plant a bomb inside a book near the Queen. Batman is assisted by an elderly Sherlock Holmes who despite his advanced age remains alive and well while living in Tibet.
