Synopsis:
Doctor Spectro robs an armored car in Tampa Bay. He then attempts to blackmail the government, threatening to expose their lie in the fabricated Captain Atom back story. General Eiling agrees to meet Spectro and drops off an advance payment.
When Captain Atom finds out about Spectro, he decides to track down the villain against orders. With the help of the police, he finds a clue that leads him to Spectro's hideout. The crook is then arrested.
Tom Emery is sent to prison. Eiling plants information that causes the other inmates to attempt murder. Captain Atom visits the prison and warns the other prisoners to stay away from Emery. He then leaves, knowing that Emery still has knowledge that Captain Atom is working with the government.
